I got on search and searched for "pc doctor" and the top one was Registry Booster, so I D/L it and ran it, then Defragged again, and it isn't great, but it is much better. Sometimes, it would take 35 minutes just to run start up!!! It seemed all I did was wait. Even waited so long on Cute, I got bumped off wating for the next page! I am excited, I didn't know there was such a thing! It was well worth the $29.95.

I understand and am glad that you are up and running again. I am so sorry that you have been frustrated, but glad that you managed to find a fix.

Thanx so much for your concern.I am still working on it, but do plan to get a new one soon, I am just so far behind on my sewing, I can't take the time now to D/L everything on a new computer! Hahaha! Hugs, Judy

That's good news Judy - wondered why I hadn't seen your avatar recently!

We had similar problems with our old one. So Trevor bought me a new computer - I couldn't be bothered with the older one. That is now out in the back room - along with the new TV! Mine is now super fast and I'm thrilled with it. We got a Hewlett Packard Intel duo core with Windows 7 and I even watch television on it! LOL, not much sewing getting done!!!! Don't worry about the paperweight it is only a picture of a Redback Spider - one of Australia's nasty little critters!

Love and blessings Chris
