Here is a site that has lots of free designs digitized for mylar http://bordadosaguasanta.blogspot.com Place the mylar on the fabric and then stitch over it. When design is finished, gently tear the mylar and it will leave a clean edge. Cutting off the mylar with scissors doesn't get close enough. I have washed, dried and ironed on the backside and the design still is great.
