WHAT BRAND DO YOU USE AND WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO PURCHASE IT FROM THATS REASONABLE????

Metro - I ordered the complete set of 166 so far they have been great. I use a babylock Ellure Plus.

THANK YOU, BUT i NEED ACTUAL QUILTING THREAD FOR THE LONG ARM QUILTER...I ALREADY ORDERED THEIR EMBROIDERY THREAD....

I use a Premium Sulky 30wt all purpose mercerized cotton, matte finish, strong it's good for machine or hand use and can be dry cleaned or machine washable. You can get it in solid colors or varigated. I buy 500m. If you are using a long arm quilting machine. I'm not familiar with the thread for them, but for quilt tops this is what I use. :)

sorry I didn't see where you were asking about a long arm. Check out http://www.connectingthreads.com or http://www.nancysnotions.com or http://www.keepsakequilting.com each of these places carry thread as well as Fons and Porter's website. Hope this helps a little and not too confusing. :)
