I'd say on a corner. But I guess you could put in on the edge, too. I'll wait to see what others say.

Caroline, I like the corner - but that would depend on what the design was - wouldn't it?

Shirlene I love you Christmas napkins. I think I might try your lace ones. I have that design.

The lace corners are beautiful, stunning, elegant, etc......both sets are nice.

I prefer on the corner. But I am sure depending on the design I just might put it somewhere else. I usually decide on the fly.

I'll vote with Nancy; in the corner, but if the design calls for something else and you like to fold your napkins in a way that it would show, then go for it. If it's a gift, I suggest that you pre-fold the napkins for the recipient, so they will see how pretty it looks with the design showing.

Guess it will depend on how the napkin is folded, but I like the corner.Helen

I put my designs in the corner; on the border; and sometimes in the middle of a quarter fold. It's your choice, but I believe the traditional placement is in the corner.

I think most of the time it's placed on the corner but some designs may look better on a different area......the nice thing is you can put it anywhere you think it looks best artistic license!!!

Most I have seen are on the corner, but this may be up for debate. Fold it for a napkin ring with pointed end facing the seated person with monogram or initial showing. eye ball the middle from the napkin ring to the corner and mark. Now you have your perfect placement. Don't you think my rules will make Emily Post jealous. Kay
