After embroidering each design, cut the block to exact measurements, add another fabric color choice to surround each block, again cutting to exact measurements, lay out the blocks like you wish, then add the sashing strips to the right fronts only, sew across completing each row, lay out again and cut your sashing strips, then sew together. Add the sashing tops, sides and bottoms. This way will leave you with an exact square measurement. I do this all of the time. If you need more help E-mail me private at: margie1997retired@gmail.com

I thought you were going to test stitch the text designs I digitised, so I could add them to your designs for you once I was sure they stitched out properly??????????
