absolutely, check out your local pbs station, usually monday is Quilt In a Day, tues, Fons & Porter, Weds Is Husqvarna, also RFD tv has quilting shows several times a week. Good luck, have fun.....

I'm in Virginia and I was going to say to check out the Public Broadcasting Stations in your area, but bikermomfl beat me to it. I don't think I've seen any on HGTV. (Which I watch way too much) Also, Welcome to Cute! I see you are a newbie!

Also check your PBS affiliate about Sewing With Nancy with Nancy Zieman, America Sews with Sue Hausman, and the one with Martha Pullen of Sew Beautiful magazine, I can't remember the name of Martha Pullen's show. These are my favorites.

I live in Knoxville, TN and PBS has 2 here..America Sews & Marth's Sewing Room. (Martha Pullen) They come on back to back here on Comcast. However all the quilt shows seem to have been moved to DIY & we no longer get that as you have to pay extra to get it in the bundle with a bunch of other stations we don't watch at all. Hope you find at least a couple!

Welcome.... I live in SC and our PBS doesn't have any, but I go online to some of the websites and watch their videos.

If I am only searching for a special sewing thing I search at "you tube" under the name. There is everything in short videos to find. If you go there and type zipper, or quilting or Janome quilting foot, what ever, you will find so much clips under each tag.

Check out D.I.Y. Network on cable. They have some shows, and P.B.S. has some. What I do is DVR all of them, and then I can watch them at my leisure, and even save them if a show has a project that I want to try. I've found knitting, sewing, embroidery, and various crafting shows. If you have cable do a television show search, using the words sewing, craft, knit, crochet, embroidery, and usually you will find something. As others have said go online, and search. D.I.Y. will list their shows and has some amazing instructions for their projects, and you can watch the episodes online also, even past ones.

No help on the T.V. station because I stay online all of the time. Heehee Where in Ga are you from? I live in the Atlanta area and so does another one of our cuties and there are several more that I know of that are Ga. Peaches! Welcome to the group! Have fun! It is the best group online!
