This flowers I stitched on my jeans to become pretty. The butterflies are stitched on the foldover-border. I used glamour-thread by Madeira.

This is so pretty. I have never heard of glamour thread and I use Maderia thread. Can you tell me a little about it.

Glamour thread is a 12 wt thread. It's twined , two strands of slightly different colour, one of them metallic or iridescent, which gives a great effect. You need a needle with a large eye and Madeira offers special ones.
I bought a box containing 38 colours, a packet of the special needles and a CD with low density design specially made with this yarn in mind.

Glamour #12 is the strongest and most advanced heavy metallic embroidery thread available today, it is designed for three dimensional embroidery, needle #90/14 is recomended.
