a towel with it and used the basting stitch. It worked great no problems. I love this stuff. And when you tear it off it doesn't pull your design out of shape. I had to order it, because no one around her sells it. It is a little hard to find but it can be gotten. If you find it try it, worth the try. sorry just had to share the news. Sara

I bought some perforated stabilizer that sounds just like this at JoAnn fabric some time ago....when I went back in to get more no one knew anything about it and they have never had it since.....so could you please tell me where you purchased this.....It was the best stabilizer I have ever used and would love to have some again.....thanks so much.

Sure I got it from Create for Less on the net. I ordered a bolt of 40 yards it is 24 inches wide. It is a lot to put out at one time but in the run worth it I believe. link is www.createforless.com.

Sara, I am so happy for you - so is this a cut away that you are talking about - what is the name of this stabilizer - how can we find it at this website? There is alot of different stabilizer's on this site - can you clarify which one it is for us?

I need some stabilizer, soon. I went on the site and could not figure out which one you were talking about. The only 24" I could find was a Sulky fuse and stitch for 5.02 a yard?

This is called Easy Stitch by HTCW . It is 100% polypropylene & it is tear away. lillian

we use a perferated one here we get from embroidery scource it is actualy a meltaway as well so just test it you will find it disintergrates with heat but will not mark your iron we love it , its so soft for babies designs too Hugs Shazells

I've been using it from ES for a while too and love it. Especially how it pulls away so nicely from around applique designs etc. It can also be good to stop things slipping around in the hoop -a little like the shelf liner.

Cute friends it is called Easy Stitch perforated tear away it is by HTCW ,Item #33750669.I bought the 40 yard bolt which with shipping comes to less than $2.00 yard. To me it was a much better buy. It is wonderful stuff. web address attached ., happy stitching girls. It is not melt away, nor does it dissolve in water. But it is truly soft to the touch. you can buy by the yard package also.<br />Sara

there are tear-away-wash-a-way stabilizers. Which I seem to use for almost everything even when I am using a mesh for t-shirts.

I like this type also. It hoops very well. However, I found it gets static and the small pieces seem to cling to everything. I have had to be careful with pulling it away from RW type designs.

Very possible, it is hard to find here in Alabama, also I know I searched several sites before I found it and a lot said they carried it but it was out of stock.
But for the price I feel I got a good deal by the bolt.
