It's middle of winter. I had espresso coffee in bed, opened pink embossed heart and roses b/cards and gifts wrapped in gold coloured gift wrapping paper. D/H spoiled me as usual, with light brown leather, Italian handbag and Bvlgari bath and perfume set in an exquisite black and white box!

He left for work...I stayed in bed and browsed the internet for our upcoming trip to Bangkok...until the warm sunrays on the bed and reflection of the pool on the wall, reminded me it's time to get up! But not before I received the flight tickets and hotel vouchers via e-mail - perfect timing although a co-incident...AND read some of your B/wishes here on CUTE!

I joined him again at 09:00 for breakfast in a popular, cosy, "expat" coffee shop! After that I went to my only friend here, who has a bead shop - pity she took the day off, (but she did phone me). I went to the bank to get $, and at least they saw on the comp system it was my b/day and wished me "happy b/day" as well!

In between, family and friends from SA phoned or e-mailed me and I read more wishes from YOU, here! Fana, (see my avatar) sang "happy B/day FANA" to me, and I had to remind him it's MY B/day...then he corrected it.

We went to the best hotel's restaurant for dinner! All-in-all, a happy day for me...although I missed my children in SA. And today...today I will see how little I can pack in the largest suitcases possible, heading for Bangkok. THANK YOU CUTIES!
