I use a magnetic hook , that you can find in most hardware stores, and hang them on my refrigerator. if your dishwasher is able to hold a magnet you might use a magnetic strip and attatchit on the bottom of the towel. good luck. Lani

Why don't you find a pretty stainless holder for a towel - one that would sit beside your sink - or just place your towel on the side of the sink.

This was at a farmer's market and not what I am suggesting - but you might get the idea of a fingertip towel hanging next to the sink - with a stainless steel holder - I am sure you can find one at Walmart or some local bath place easily.

I would try to hang it from the knob on the door under the sink. I should not get stuck.

Great question and good suggestions. Unfortunately I can't contribute, since I have a very small kitchen. I use my oven handle which is very close to my sink and refridg. I also have an older model microwave that has a nice handle that I fold towels over. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. LOL...

With our new kitchen I've bought a stick on towel circle - you push part of the towel through the centre and it's inside the door under my kitchen sink - works for me.

If that was me, I would take the towel off the handle when you open the dishwasher, it's not as if you are opening the dishwasher every five minutes of the day. Please don't think I am been rude, but it's the easiest thing to do.

I would put it on the inside of the cupboard under the sink. I put mine on the refrigerator door handle. I guess that is a consideration when buying a new fridge, where to put a dishtowel. You could put a hook on the wall someplace and hang it there. I hung my apron on a hook as a reminder to put it on, and not ruin my clothes cooking.

I don't have a good place for the towel either but I use one of those command performance hooks that are removed easily and there is alittle space between the dish washer and the sink cupboard that is just big enough to hold the hook. The towel does get caught in the dishwasher when you open it but you learn to just grab the towel before you shut the dishwasher. You can also hang it underneath your upper cupboards. Get a small towel bar (ring would work also)from the dollar store that attaches with a couple screws and mount it underneath the cupboard. Like you would a paper towel holder. If you can't find the towel rod use a cafe curtain rod...one of those little gold ones that hangs on the brackets. You have to pinch the bracket around the rod a bit so it doesn't fall off but that will work.

take a look at this one - I have one in the kitchen by the sink, and one also in the guest bath. We found them at Bed Bath & Beyond, and worked out well, since DH does not like towels on the counters. This one stays on the door under the kitchen sink.

There are now so many attractive 3M hooks. I love them since you can remove them if you don't like the place. What about using one of those on the side of the cabinet by the sink or would that be too high?

They have towel holders that sit on the counter, I think they are mainly for bathrooms. After looking at your kitchen, the counter would be the easiest access for a towel. Good luck

I hang a towel topper from the handle on the drawer under the sink. It's a dummy, and does n't open anyway.The towel topper has a flap that goes round the handle and buttons down so is easily removed for washing. Love the pic of your kitchen. All shiney and new I'm sure it was worth the wait. Sue

I also have magnetic appliances in the kitchen and don't hang anything on them with magnets. I hang mine over the oven handle, and just remove it when I am cooking. Also have my bread box on the counter(on a corner which is open ,where the back door is) , which I have a hook on the side which will hold a towel.

Hi they sell rings on a small stand in the bath department of most stores to hold hand towels in the bathroom. You could find one you like for the area near your sink. Mu sister has one. Suzanne
