Quick question... Do I need stabalizer for felt? TIA

No answer, but great question! I am about to be doing somethings on felt also and never thought about that!

it's okay. I really got some good advise, I hope you can use it also. I'm going to use a paper solvy which will disolve with a little water. If I'm careful, I don't think the felt will shrink.

I have done a lot of refrigerator magnets with felt and I always used stabalizer. I do not know if it would work without or not

Terre, it depends on the felt - if it is a thick and sturdy one - I would say not - but if it is not - the design might actualy hold up better with the stabilizer behind it.

Terre, I use stabilizer when I embroidery on felt. The felt I have does have some give to it. H&*

i use a tear away with it because i use the cheap felt from the dollar store.

Thank you for your info. This is from Hobby Lobby, which is probably the same as the dollar store.
