Gerry I agree it is totally advertising. Out of couriosity I checked her name to see when she joined cute. One was dated today. I hope Miaa Veronica can somehow put a stop to this.

I choose to ignore these posts. If I want to see a commercial I'll turn on the tv.

When it comes to it I think we are a discriminating lot. If we dont digitise I think that most of us know the Cuties we can ask for help and we would know we were going to get a QUALITY design

I have to agree, I noticed bookmarks have become the same way just a bunch of ads for their sites, I went there and had to go back quite a ways before I actually got to bookmarks not ads.

Gerry, you are right, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. The two I saw were from "mygrafico", who has been posting in bookmarks for a long time, and from "embpunching", who has apparently just joined. I personally don't think this blatant advertising belongs in projects, and have sent a message to Veronika. I want to make it clear that I am NOT talking about people who are members of the community, like Yoriko, Shirlene and others who have websites, because they are members of the community first, they participate in disucssions and help people with answers, etc. They are not here just to sell something, post an advertisement and go away like these others seem to be doing. The best thing to do for right now seems to be not to respond to their posts by comments or flowers. Hope we get this resolved soon. Big hugs, and thanks, Marji

Hi gerry, I also thought the advertising was annoying but I am a newbie and do not have as much experience with these things, so I held back. You have my support on this and, I am certain that of many others who don't want to make trouble unknowingly. *4U

Hopefully Miss Veronika can remove them since this is a No - Ad place. Veronika shouldn't have to put up with other sites advertising on her website forum that she is paying for.

i agree, but am surprised that some people post to the advertising threads and give flowers which keeps them in sight. They should be ignored and then, perhaps they will go away!

That feeling I had always with nthe anwers of omkarpromos. When somebody was asking for a design he/she (?) offers to dititize it for them for money. That isn't the way I feel that this forum works :o(
I know it is a lot of work to digitize a design but I think it is a give and take here on the site and that is what I like so much here.
I was always wondering about all the posts from grafico because I thought this is advertising without paying for it...

Dear gerryvb, I agree with you,money has no place here.
Perhaps Miss Veronika could say to us what exactly has to be posted in projects and what in bookmarks, so with this rule all will be clear.
When I post a picture in projects, it is the picture of a thing that I have embroidered,I write some technical explainations, the size, the number of stitches, from where is the design, and eventualy, some personal words for example for whom is made the work but nothing of that is advertisement because there is no offer to sell anything
And in bookmarks, what exactlyhas to be posted?
In reviews I think that it is about machine, but I have not understand really what?
You can explain me if I am wrong
