I use something a bit different (can't get the cloud cover here). I cut a piece that covers the embroidery, round off the 4 corners and iron it on at the back. If you're not sure whether it's iron on, try it out with a small piece on some scrap material (or piece of an old T-shirt).

Cloud Cover is a fusible. So like mops suggested, cut the size you need to cover the embroidery and then just iron it down with moderate heat. that's all there is to it. Have fun. Carol

what a pity I didn't get Cloud Cover here in Germany. I still stitch on felt and sew it on the shirts for my kids because they both don't like that scratching on the skin (and I can understand them, I even don't like it :o).

Yes you iron it on. For those of you that can't get Cloud Cover a friend of mine has been using French interfacing for years and swears by it. Maybe any iron on facing would do the trick.

For those who can't get Cloud Cover, but use other materials to cover the "scratchy" part, you can get thin double sided iron on tape to apply the material over the scratch part, or use wonder-under just for that area. works just as good.
