Welcome SugarBookers. Unfortunately I have a brother so I can't help, but there are hundreds of very talented ladies and men from all around the world, and I know someone out there will be able to help. Just give them a little to research if they need to. :) Again, Welcome... Terre

I don't have Editor Lite but I do have a Bernina machine. I have found endless help at my Bernina dealer. I would either visit or call them soon. By the way, Welcome! This is a wonderful site.

Most software that is written for 32 bit will not work on the new 64 bit machines, unless Bernina has issued a software patch. Check the Bernina website. There are two software fixes for v5. You might contact your dealer to see if either of these will fix the problem.

I have a bernina artist V6 and it works with windows 7. Though Bernina has now offered a patch to make it work better. My understanding is that they won't be supporting V5, so you may have trouble getting V5 to work. That is very frustrating. I'm having issues with several other programs that used to work. I feel your pain. Do check with your dealer. Good luck

Disable digital signature enforcment on drivers.

Copy the contents of the installation cd to the desktop on your pc.

Remove microsoft activesync folder completely.
Run Setup.exe as admin, and in windows xp comp. mode

Install and up
