by nhsmith55 26 Jul 2010

I also do a lot of burp pads. These chickens are perfect for them. And we love to go the the beach, so collecting the sea font was a no brainer

Well I can relate really well to this one. Have a good arguement with yourself and see what happens. Then let us know

And now you have the pencil font to add to your dilemma...
by nhsmith55 27 Jul 2010
I've lost yet another arguement with myself! I know several teachers and of course school age children. I'm collecting this one, too. In my own defense, I did not collect the lily font and I didn't even realize that you had to put the designs together youself.

I know what you mean Nancy, I'm still working on those d/l files trying to unzip and straighten out, and keep telling myself NO MORE D/L. But it's just not working...

I did get a good batched sorted yesterday. Now I have to work on the ones I want to convert. With those I am much more ruthless!! I don't like that I have to recolor them.
by keeponsewing 27 Jul 2010
I spoke with my daughter today about the thread color, why it didn't look like the same as what I d/l. She said it is the translation. But to me stitching is just like coloring to me, and I LOVE to color... hehehe. It really doesn't matter what the colors say, it's almost a guarentee (sp) that I will change them. LOL... Oh and I just d/l from a new site for me where she designed Bible Scriptures. Now that I couldn't pass up. :)

You are right keeponewing, I love for each embroidery to find my personal colours. they must be matched to the fabric, and to the person for whom I make the gift. It is an important part of the pleasure to embroider

I have just made a HUGE decision not to download the chicken font. I have sooooooo many fonts that it would take TWO lifetimes to use them all. Come this afternoon who knows I may have changed my mind. Margaret

That is what I had decided with the funny bears. I didn't download the A, but when B came along, I had to have it. Then I needed the A because my grandson is Andrew!!

It was a little tough when we had several alphas finishing up at the same time. That means more will be starting, and more choices to make!

Now, you know why they keep making them - Miss V. has a whole site - just for this reason, too. I know - I have said - if I don't use at least one of these alpha's - I will not get another - then something like these two show up and I get them, too. But what is a girl to do? You might need these for something - one day - right?

You never know when you might need a certain design. That is the addiction, isn't it?
by shirlener88 27 Jul 2010
That is for sure and if you don't DL it - surely you will need it and can't find it or buy it at the time.

When I saw the new pencil-alpha I immediately thought on you! *lol*
It's just the right time because tomorrow here is the last schoolday and then we have 6 weeks summerholidays; enough time for the alpha to get finished until school starts again ;o)
