Hi Chris! Wasn't it absolutely wonderful to see such a preformance? The look on her face at the reaction of everyone was worth a million words!
I hope you and hubby have gotten through with the kitchen and Pray that your family is doing much better. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. It is about time for you to share some new pictures of the babies. Your newest avatar is a beautiful picture with the greatedt smile I have ever seen on you. You look really happy even with everything that has been going on. I have not been online as much the last week or so as usual so I may have just missed a bunch. I guess I need to check back on some of the older post.
We have had alot going here also but not as nice as a new kitchen. My DIL's Mom has given us 2 very bad scares in the last couple of weeks. I think we were all afraid we were going to lose her last week, congestive heart failure and at 81 and very frail and weak, she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance the last time on borrowed time but they got out the fluids and she was back home in 2 days but it is happening very often for the last 6 months. She has stayed with Gail and Brian several days and nights lately and that is something that she will not do unless it is neceaasry. They have done everthing they can to get her to go to a home or either stay with them but she will have no part of that! Gail is not very strong willed so she will not force her Mom to do what is best for herelf. She is also afraid that she will give up if she does not get to stay in her apartment that she refuses to leave. I have offered to go and stay with Ms Syble some but no one things that is what I need to do and they make me feel like I am being held prisoner myself. Of course, the way the heat has been for a couple of weeks, I might not be able to stay with her. She has no A/C and the hat index was 110 degrees yesterday. I think the temp high yesterday was 100. I went to the Dr. today for my weekly appt. and was going to go to the store when I got out. NOT, I came straight home and got out of the car. My face was blood red and my clothes were stuck to me. It takes me about 3 or 4 minutes to drive from my house to the hospital wound care center. I am not a hot weather person! I can put on enough clothes to stay warm but I would scare the world if I tried it the other way around!!hahaha Good night! Linda

I was sitting here crying ans laughing at the same time. What a delightful senior with a wonderful voice. The look on her face was sheer happiness! She did not look strong enough to get to the center of the stage alone but she sure has a strong voice! Waht a way to end up the night! Thank you Gerry for sharing this with us! Judy, I agree you you!

How special this is! Thanks for sharing it. I was just listening to the "I Dreamed a Dream" by Susan Boyle and who knows - she may be doing the same thing as Susan with alot of luck!

WOW! What a voice! Thanks for sharing. I loved the look on Simon's face when 80 yr old Jenny walked in. But, the reaction he had when she started singing was priceless. I shared the video with my house mate that is 72 later this month. It brought tears to his eyes. We used to sing karaoke together years ago and had a few standing ovations but nothing like that!
