May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.

Amen! The Bible tells you God will never leave us or forsake us. He'll be with us through it all & sometimes He is literally carrying us. * hank you gerry for reminding us with you lovely poem.

GerryVB, thank you for this. It is something I needed this morning. My husband just called and a friend of ours just passed away. It was sudden and we didn't get to see him. It's hard sometimes but God knows and does, in fact, help us through the darkest of hours. Thank you again.
