Hi Has anyone had trouble with their bobbin case and top tension disapearing and how was it fixed. My bobbin case has worn on one side at the bottom and my top tension dosn't hold. Thankyou

This is a problem that some sewing machine mechanics are not picking up with the Janome 300E. The fine top tension Spring is broken ( I have checked this machine today for Purplerose }Having this problem myself but I had both Top springs completely collapsed . Been trying to sort for over 2 years . Mine has seen 2 mechanics . Finally some joy , I hope . Plus her bobbin case was worn really bad . So something else to keep an eye on girls .hugs....me

You may find that a new bobbin will help. I bought a complete new bobbin to use for reverse stipple work using a pearl thread in the bobbin and ordinary thread on top - It cost around $18AUD. Hope this helps.
