My cousin, who was my youngest bridesmaid (she was only three!) and her husband celebrate their silver wedding on Tuesday! Oh my that makes me feel old! Here's the card I've made for them, I had intended to do the lettering in silver thread and also embroider a silver 25 on the bird house but I had so much trouble with the silver satin-stitch round the aperture that I gave that idea up!

It's a lovely card Dianne, worth framing and keeping. Is the birdhouse one of your own designs? Very nicely done, silver thread or not - but I see some silver around the frame, that looks great.

Yes, it's one of mine. I rarely use anything else, my hoop is such an odd size so it's easier to do my own than resize other people's 4 x 4 designs!
