Does anyone know where I could find a design for the Medical Alert Symbol or Food Allergy Alert? I would like to make a tag or badge for my GS lunch bag?

There is a website by an RN who might have it listed. I'll try to find it for you.

Thanks for your help, I did a Google search without much luck. I went to urban threads but I don't know where to get the design that was on the braclet. The one from embroidery designs might work. Thanks again.

I'm still looking, I found out that the double snake is for persons in the medical profession and that the single snake is for the Medic Alert emblem. You are so kind to help,*4U

I got on at PESvault.com a long time ago. Check there. It's called Medical Alert Tag. It's applique.
You could also use any luggage tag and put your ow words on it.
I also saw a No Peanut sign but can't find it at the moment. (Is it a peanut allergy?)

Thanks I will take a look at that site. His allergy is to milk and egg, very severe. He isn't allergic to nuts at all. Yes, I thought about doing my own using a luggage tag or a circle applique. Thanks for your help.

My oldest has severe milk allergy. He never out grew it. He wears a medical alert bracelet. He made it through school just fine. Accidental milk problems usually happened at home or when he worked at a grocery store (clean up in the milk aisle...not a good idea).

We keep hoping and praying that he will out grow this allergy. He also wears a MA bracelet. He went to kindergarden last year and made it ok. At the Daycare he drank another childs cup of milk and almost died! We are very careful even about getting it on his skin.Glad your son has learned to live with this, I know it must be realy hard for them. They can't go out to eat like other kids. Thanks again

I don't know if they serve peanut products or not. But he isn't allergic to nuts at all. His allergy is to eggs and milk which includes all dairy products. It would be really hard for schools to not serve anything which has those. Ask me how I know? I cook for him and it is really hard to find very much that he can have. Thanks for your interest.*4U

Hello,
I just found that embroiderydesigns with the peanutallergy (>www.creativeconnectionsembroidery.com > This&That) but here are wonderful signs for all kinds of allergy:
http://www.starallergyalerts.com.au/SAA_catalog.pdf
They have their own shop and sell all stuff for the different types of allergies.

There is a free medical insignia on this site you could put onto something else. It's almost 1/2 way down, give it time to load. It's about 2 inches.
