Now living in North Carolina (USA) and have also lived in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Florida. My nephew in Florida has friends in Brazil and was invited to play in a championship scoccer game that was won and I met them at his wedding. I like how the internet can bring us together from a far.

When my kids were little I would respond to every "MOM" yelled from other kids when out and about, so I asked them to give me a nickname. They have called me capoodle for years but my name is Anita.

Anita, so happy you answered this - I used to live with my husband Rick in Greensboro, NC - I started by embroidery at the High Point Sewing Center. Where do you go?
My Daughter graduated from UNCG. Know the area well. Have been as far as Jamestown. My son goes to university in Tennessee and I have found sources over there. You are close to 4 hours from where I live. I'm still 30 minute drive west of Boone.
Anita, we spend some time in Boone at least once a year.(deep in the mountains). We love Boone, it's grown so much since the first time my parents help build the cabin (really a 4br3ba long house).
Anita, you live in such a beautiful part of NC. I have visited your mountainous area, and loved the peaceful feeling.

They call the mountains the Blue Ridge Mountains for all the pine trees that give off the blue hue in the sky. Very beautiful except driving on mt. roads without guard rails in the winter. We live on secondary roads and they are last to get plowed.

Thanks so much for the welcome.....I so enjoy coming here, I wished I would have figured out sooner you don't have to be a paying member to come here....I live with my hubby who is now partially disabled and our two adorable fur babies (meow)....we use to trave a lot doing construction (my hubby was a Electrical Superintendent), we both miss it but are content to be at home now....God has been very king to us as we have gone through many things....my name is Janet (I use one of my cats name Kali) I live in S.W. Georgia (USA) in a rural area.....again thanks for the welcome this is by far my favorite place to come.
