I made these lamps for my kids (not all these lamps! ;-). It's a fabric-cover to slip over an Ikea-glasslamp (simple white square table-lamp). The cute little angels are from Daffy Down Dilly and they are stitched so quickly: Incl. name and date within 15 Minutes and there is no colorchange :o)

Bettina, those are so pretty. I am going to have to check out Ikea on line and see what the lamps are like and the cost. Not that I have a single flat place to put a lamp!

Debra,
the name of the lamp is Grönö and it cost 6,99$ on the webpage of Ikea.com/us. You have to buy it in the stores and if you make so many packages with them you know why they don't send them as a parcel ;o).
Maybe you will find somebody who is going to your next store or you see another square lamp to use.
Greetings, Bettina

Thank you :o)
On the yellow lamp you see trim in the regular size. I have found a retailer who sells smaller ones and they look much better (see Leonie and Ella). I also use rickrack or another woven ribbon (cannot see it but the red lamp on the left has a ribbon at the top with fly agarics).

These are so effective. My granddaughters would love them. Guess I'll just have to add them to my ever growing list! *
