will search for a solutions." In the meantime, the program shuts down. I have the program open on my computer & have not had that problem before. Anyone else having that problem & have you solved it & how. You get NO help from Viking for 3D anymore.

Afrter about 30 mins of searching the Viking site about 3D, I finally found out what to do when you get that error message! You are right. You have to find the "corrupt" file and delete it. If you look FAST when you click on that icon, you can see where you last viewed designs. Of course it was in a HUGE file of dogs & cats! After going thru them one by one, I came to one that shut the program down! Found it!! Deleted it & now it works.

I've had to solve the newer PES problem by opening the design into the 3D Embroidery page, as soon as I unzip it, and then saving the design in HUS format or whatever format it is that you need.
Once I've actually saved most of the newer PES designs into my Embroidery Folder I cannot open them. I've used Pulse but it doesn't work with every design, so now I just unzip, open with 3DEmbroidery and save. It takes a little more time but if I like the design I don't mind.

Thanks Gerry!!!!! Now I know how to solve one of the many problems I have had recently with mine. Aside from having a PC that I have to perform CPR on every time it boots up, I also started having a string of problems with my 3D. That's what prompted me to seek out other applications. I am now doing the trial with Embird, because Husqvarna is just too expensive and they do not provide the much support for us anymore. Good work investigating your issue.
