Well, I have done it - I have two machine's running with two different projects - will not have much time for anything else - but change and clip threads. Hehehe!

See - I knew that you could do it. I have done this for a while, and usually try the FSL on one machine, and something else on the other. My machines are set up so that one is in front of me, and the second to the right. But hubby designed my sewing desk for me so that I could do that. LOL Good luck with this, and hope it works great for you too. Hugs.

Beth, dear - mine isn't set up that way - they are across the room from another - I had to put a little table up - for the second machine. I am getting a work out - maybe just what I need for the time being - Hehehe! Got to run and change a thread. LOVE!

Oh Shirlene! How wonderful!!! I'd be thrilled to have my machine in the same room with the computer, but the computer room is too small to house the machine, too! Unless.... Hmmmm.
Well congratulations and good luck.
I pray for blessings from God for you and Rick.
Love,

Naydne, thanks - I sure appreciate it - after I set it up for Terri when she came - I knew that I could just move that table over a bit and still get around in the room - so why not run them both - I have an order to get out - so just as well work the machine and have less stress.

Marvelous Shirlene, I hope you have a lovely and productive time with the machines running all the time. The running up and down is a plus, just think of some kilos a person could run of without even knowing, LOL.
Lots of hugs and God bless

Congratulations.
I like embroidering and sewing on two machines, but embroidering on two ... I don't see to be doing anything but changing threads or hooping the next one to be embroidered. When it's FSL it's a different matter, one colour and high stitch count, that's not such hard work.

I hope you get many orders from your website and can keep those machines earning their keep!

It is a cutie and I am trying to enjoy life - it would be rather difficult to give in to the bad things - rather than enjoying the good things.
by relaxsew 07 Aug 2010
It sure is cute! Keep on trying! :)

this sure is a cutie I am so happy for you I would love two machines but I run the sewing machine and embrois=dery machine both at the same time but I have a chair with wheels on it.

So cute.
by shirlener88 07 Aug 2010
Lena Mae, that would be ideal - not going to happen in my place - can't afford another chair on wheels and the carpet is a shag - so they just don't work - but I am getting up and down alot - something I need to do - Hehehe!

Sigrún, thanks - it is isn't it?

I hope you have a print out of each design next to the machine to help you stay focused. I know I would loose it, especially with the TV on and the phone ringing.

by shirlener88 07 Aug 2010
Thanks for the idea - however - I really don't need a print out - as you might see in the pictures - my machine has the colors and a little picture of the design - I have the colors sorted and line up the thread - with the order - makes it easy for me - I don't have a TV in my embroidery room and if the phone rings when I can't get to it - it can go to voice mail - Hehehe! Thanks Kay.

Hi Shirlene, that's great!
It sounds as if you have a new stage of motivation?
I also have a second machine since one week - it's great!!!!!
I have days I can do many things at the same time and other days I can't do anything in embroidery. So I can combine it very effective.

It's amazing - my husband is like Rick - he don't mention anything about the noise. I think men can more easy adopt noise! I noticed it as our children were born.
I the morning he said many times: This night you didn't need to feed them!
I answered: Yes, but only four times. He did not notice - he wasn't programmed to hear it.
I ignore the TV with sports and he ignore the machine - so what!

Wish you great success and many new ideas to stitch out.
God bless you

LOL Shirlene, just get some casters on your chair and wheel yourself across. hehehehe. Save your energy for more fun things.... Oh wait a minute that is a fun thing. LOL Well then think of how fit you will be between the machines. I can see the headlines now... "Utah woman gets fit embroidering between two machines... hahaha.... All kidding aside. Just let it work for you... You will accomplish a lot more doing this. This has come at the right time with your website starting up also...Christmas is around the corner.... Luv Ya... Terre

Dear Shirlene,

Well, all I can say that he looks as happy as a pig in mud! and of course why shouldn't he be!

Glad to see you got two machines going - I do what Terre says - I have wheels on my chair so I can go from one end of the room to the other - mind you it's not a big room anymore.

Good luck to you with your orders. Love and blessings Chris

Shirlene, you will have lot to do now.
That´s remind me when I have my two machine´s runnig some years ago, I had to do some order very quickly so I used both, the HUS and the PFAFF, but now I only use the HUS for the embroidery.
Cheers.

I love those roses, Shirlene, from where are they, Could I put them o, a T-shirt?
by turtleowl 08 Aug 2010
Beautiful design should be a gorgeous doily.
by shirlener88 08 Aug 2010
Sigrún, thank you - I do appreciate it.

Claude, this set is from Advanced-Embroidery - it is called Rose Tapestry Bowl & Doily #24026 - in the set there is a rose that could be put on a t-shirt - there are alot of jump stitches in this design - you would have to be very careful - when stitching it on a t-shirt or anything else - that you got all the jump cut very close to the work on both top and bottom. That is what is taking me so long with this project, besides the density of the design - this panel took 90 mintues to stitch.

Turtuleowl, thank you very much.
by marietta 08 Aug 2010
Beautifull !!!! Be sure to show us the finished doily.
by shirlener88 08 Aug 2010
Marietta, thanks - it feels like I have been stitching on this forever - there are 7 parts to the bowl and 9 parts to the doily - these doily pieces are taking over an hour and a half to stitch and that isn't counting the time to cut the jump stitches. I will put it in the projects.
by clawton 08 Aug 2010

Judy, thank you dear - I am glad that I have two now - it took me four years to get the newest one - through the courts - now I have it - I just as well use it - I was going to sell it - I received it the day that Rick had his stroke - so it went into storage to get out of the way - then my machine stalled on me - a week or two ago - so while it was in getting fixed - I had to get some projects done - so out came the new one - straight out of the box. It was running and still is - like a champ.

No, I didn't get it finished - I have three more sections of the doily to do - but I will zip them out in the morning and stitch them all together - I should have had both machines working on it - but I didn't have thread for both of them - too much work - taking the thread and bobbin back and forth - don't you think? Hehehe! Yes, let us pray!

thanks all - I got lots of projects done - except for the order - that one - I am still working on - I tried doing it on both machine's - but that was too stressful - not enough time in the day to clip that many threads and run between the machines with the thread for the next color change - Hehehe!
