Bonnie, Welcome to the CUTE family - usually they mean WSS (water soluable stabilizer) there are a couple kinds - but you need something that is thick enough to hold together while it is stitching - not the topping that looks like plasitc wrap. If you can't find any of the right kind - you might try doing them on organza with a double thickness in your hoop. Good luck dear.

Hi Bonnie, Welcome to cute you don't say where you live in NZ. Your sewing shop should be able to help you or you can buy online. I lived in auckland and there where a couple of good quilting and embroidery shops around. Birkenhead, Devonport and there was also one Herne Bay way...not sure if this will help. Anyway Welcome. Sally

Hi Bonnie and welcome,
We have a Cutie that lives in Hawera (North Island) between Manaia to the North and Patea to the South - her Cute name is Jasanne. Maybe you could PM (private message) her and see if she can help you out as well.
The PM tab is along the line where you will find PUBLIC, FREEBIES (BETA), PERSONAL, PRIVATE.
Good luck with trying the embroidered flowers, they are beautiful to do and you have some suggestions I see already.
Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia
