there is one here , you may want to go for something simple for a first try.

2. bowl and doily
3. bowl
4. basket with handle
5. Butterfly Bowl and rose bowl- click "next" until you get to it
6. heart bowl
7. Battenburg heart bowl and doily
8. Bowl bottom - ignore the picture it's a glitch
9. bowl side for #8

1. sue box has a rounded bottom bowl
2. in DBC there is a blank bowl to add your own design

Thank you all so much! I really want to try one of the doily style ones that look crocheted. I think at the end of the month I will have free time to get busy with making my first bowl!

Debra, you have lots of great designs here - as the other's have suggested - just remember one thing - if it doesn't work the first time - for whatever reason - you would not be the first one - that happened to and it is just thread and stablizer - throw it away and try again. I can't tell you how many times - I have had something that didn't work for me - but I keep at it - day by day and I get good results most of the time, now. Have fun.
