I would like to add a church logo to a T-Shirt for my husband to wear on the church mission trip to N. Mex. but I need to know if I should wash it first or applique motif, then wash? I thank you!

Best to wash it first because there usually is some shrinkage to the T-shirt

Depends on how much cotton is in the T-shirt, but it NEVER hurts to wash craft projects first. :)

Diane, I like to wash mine first - so if there is shrinkage it will be before I put in all that work. Hope you share a picture of it in projects when you are finished.
