Hello Denise,
did not know what you mean with "shades"? The inner is a simple glasslamp from Ikea ;o), just stitch the design and sew a cover for it.

Hej marlem,
the inner is the glasslamp Grönö from Ikea (you can find it at www.ikea.com/us). You just take the height of the lamp and about 1inch at the top and the bottom. I take about 50cmfor the lenght of the fabric so I have more play to put the angels at the right place.Sew the border top and bottom, add a border or lace; then put it around the lamp right fabric-site to the lamp, fix that with needles and sew it together. Turn around and pull it over the glass (best way: before you put in the cable and from the bottom to the top because the bottomcorners are rounded). Hope you can understand my terrible english ;o)
