I ironed it on the way I'm supposed to, but after coming out of the washing machine the first time, the Cloud Cover has come right off the fabric. What did I do wrong?

Did it come all the way off or just loosen along the edges? If around the edges just iron it back down again - I find that happens alot. Have never had it come all the way off - guessing your iron was not hot enough to melt the glue to make it stick.

sweetie, I dampen a pressing cloth and lay over back of design that is covered with the cloud cover and trimmed away leaving about a half inch border. That way you can use a hotter iron. if you put the hot iron directly on cloud cover it will damage it. You can use an old cloth diaper or man's hanky if you don't have a pressing cloth. kay

I bought cloud cover and it will not iron on. I tried a high setting, dry and with steam and it is junk. I will continue to buy the iron on interfacing from joanns that I have never had a problem with.

That is what I have used also. I comes in white and black. sometimes you will see an off white.

I had the same problem with my cloud cover,I have used the interfacing in the past and never had a problem and it is something I always have in my sewing room, so have decided to forgo the cloud cover in the future and just stick with my interfacing.

I agree with you. they are one in the same. You can buy as iron on tricot interfacing.

its a lining you iron on after stitching. Keeps you from itching from the threads. Good for babies as not to irritate their skin.
