Angelina fiber is a type of shreded mylar, as I understand you have to make it into a "fabric" by heat fusion.

I have used both mylar and angelina fibers and angelina sheets. I prefer the angelina because of the way it shows color, and it is wonderful to save the scraps from and reuse together for a stained glass effect.
The lady who has helped me is Genene at embellishments Galore. She is fantastic at answering all questions about angelina products. I have gotten both the fiber and the sheets from her and she insists on making sure you know how to use it correctly and the quality is exceptional. I am giving the link to her site so you can contact her. She also has a yahoo group if you are interested.
I haven't met her but am a more than satisfied customer.
