thing they had in card stock with glitter was very thick - is this what I need?????? I intend embroidering on it. Would you use just the standard embroidery needle when you are doing this type of work?

Try going to Office Works, Stationery Supplies, or Scrapbooking supplies. Spotlight is hopeless lately, I often walk out empty handed. :-(

I intend to agree with you Meganne, it is annoying when you travel around trip of about 60km and they only have as bit of this or a bit of that never a good range, When I went the only glitter paper they had was gold - not very good for a shop that size!

You do want to use a pretty thick cardstock for embroidery so it holds up to the needle punches. The emblibrary tutorial is good too - think they say to use a sharp needle.
