pool and a large seating area nearby. A good thing because my daughters house seems smaller then mine. My grandsons (13 and 17) were busy swimming all day. My grand daughter took to the water like a fish. I miss them already. 3 days to visit just wasn't enough, especially when the boys tell me they wish they could see me more often and my grand daughter lead me around by one finger showing me all her things. My whole body still hurts from the travel. But would do it again in a heartbeat. We stayed the first night in Reno,NV for my birthday and had a great time. But not as good as when seeing my family.

Sorry your visit was so short, but it sounds as if you had a good time. Grandkids are awesome and I can just see you being dragged by your little 2 year old grand daughter. I hope you had no more encounters with bugs on this travel.

I live in Montana but to see my granddaughter I must travel all the way to Germany! I fly though so I probably get to Germany quicker than you get to Montana. Glad you had such a wonderful time. I spent 2 weeks with my granddaughter when she was two weeks old and now at six months it kills me that I can't be with her.

I don't know how you grandmothers can stand being so far away from your babies.....can't imagine how it must hurt. I'm glad that you had a wonderful visit and hope you can get back soon.;)

So glad you had a good visit - sounds like the boys had lots of fun swimming and that two year old did have you wrapped around her finger - but that is how we like it - isn't it? Hope you have pictures to share with us - soon.

If I remember right you went 5 states in 6 days. We went 3 states in 3 days and stayed 3 days and back again. I still can't walk. My friend drove and I didn't realize I was bracing myself against the door as he took the mountain curves. But, a fun trip none the less.

Glad u had a pleasant vacation. Nothing beats a visit with familly especially children and grandchildren.I wish u many happy visits with them on happy occasions.

So happy you had some quality time with your grandchildren! How wonderful to finally get to see your granddaughter for the first time!!! Family is everything and yes, 3 days isn't enough but you brought back some wonderful memories and it sounds like the kids were very happy you were there.
