I remember those when I lived in Norway. But I've never seen one here in the US. Unless they have them in Alaska, or Minn. somewhere there is a lot of snow. We always used toboggans. Some one might be able to digitize it for you with the picture you provided here.

Yes I have a good memory of playing aroud on sled like that in my childhood.
In the old days I can remember there was a lot more snow in the winther here in Iceland than have been the past few years. So I haven´t seen sled like that for long time.
