The week of my grandson's wedding, my daughter had tests to see why she was losing her sense of smell and taste. The Cat scan that she had showed that she had 2 tumors deep within her brain. On the Monday following the wedding the news given to her was not very good. We have gone through many more tests, and doctors, but today the surgeon spoke to her after reviewing her test results and told her that these were fluid filled cysts that she has probably had since before she was born, and that though unusual they are nothing to worry about. These are located in the hippocampus portion of the brain - yes, I had to research that, and only got more confused. But, my girls is a fighter. She is 8 years cancer free after losing a lung to cancer when she was young enough that she shouldn't even have been stricken with it. She was hit from the back by a motorcycle while she was out jogging, and many more really freaky things. But, as of this coming Monday, she is back into school with a career change after she lost her job last December. Thank you God for making this be to the positive. Hugs to you all.
But, what about the loss of smell and taste -- can they do anything to help that?
