I just went back and looked at your before photos. you actually cut that window section out of the roof. Is it all one large open room? I added an extra window and a mirror to my closet door on the inside in my sewing room when I built my home. Now I wish I had put the mirror on the outside of the closet door. Not only would it have added extra light to the room, I wouldn't have to keep opening the door to use the mirror. How nice to plan a room from scratch. Love your open shelves also. How do you plan to store your thread? Keep us up dated on your wonderful new room. Kay

It is was an open space/floor and added the window section and a wall so that my daughter doesn't wake up of the light and noise. A have a plastic box for my thread.
