A lady asked me to embroider on this shopping basket. She had taken it to a local shop and the lady did one and said she wouldn't do another. Her lost is my gain. I have 6 more to do and got more business from this lady. Praise the Lord for that!

Yes, I wasn't sure I could do it. Especially since the "professional" said she would never do another one.

I applaud you for hooping this project. my arthritic hands would have opted for the hoop the stabilizer and pin and spray the tote to the stabilize. Good job!!

Kate, I did you the spray and pins to keep the stabilizer in place. But this was very thin denier so it was easy, and that was a 4X4 hoop which fit perfect for this. Anything larger and I might have said no also. LOL

I agree that it's PTL time& He always supplies what's needed if we ask Him. If you don't mind telling had you advertised for this& how the price was determined.Thanks for sharing your news& God's blessings. :~D

Thanks Robin. I didn't advertise at all. I was getting my hair trimmed and had something on that I embroidered and it went from there... To be honest on the pricing I just give them a price, usually 6.00 per item, however with this I doubled that because I had to take it apart and put it back together. :0}

Thank you Shirlene. Frank doesn't want me working for several reasons, one is physical, but who knew this would supply my habit. hehehhee

Yikes! That's not good. Especially the sound... Will pray the Lord can lighten the load for you. ;) Lena Mae are you close to Hendersonville? R U going to the Apple Fest? I thought about going.
by nanniesara 04 Sep 2010
Good job, now I like you only hope that it is not going to eat up your profit to get the machine fixed. Good luck, I have turned down some things, because they were not worth risking my machine's health and my debit cards balance. Sara

Thank you, I wasn't too sure. I know that if I thought it would harm the machine, I wouldn't have done this, but it wasn't too bad.
