I plan on making Christmas napkins and I am practicing on some spare ones to get a feel for placement. Most I have seen have the initial or monogram in the corner. How do others feel about placement? Kay

I even pulled out an inherited heirloom and it was a single initial in the bottom corner.

Kay a lot depends on who you are making them for. I personally prefer the corner. some people want them a little more up from the corner. It depends on how the napkin is folded I do believe & there are a lot of ways to fold napkins. Look up some dealers on the web that sell linens & see where their placements are. *

Very pretty, Kay! I prefere the corner for the design/initial it looks prettier when folded but I have even seen the desogn or initial in the center. It looked okay but not as elegant as a pretty folded napkin.
