Tip#??? When you feel a little warm and you want to use your personal fan make sure it's not sitting next to a large cone of thread that has an end dangling down. Need I say more?

lol.....you didn't? How's the fan now?

It has a lot, and I mean a lot of thread wrapped around it. I'll sit and pull it apart when I'm watching tv or something later. I can't believe I didn't even notice, it's a quiet little plastic fan that I love so I will try to fix it. It is battery powered or plug in. I looked at the large spool of thread :( You all know how expensive embroidery thread is!
Sorry....but I couldn't keep from laughing. Are you able to salvage the thread?

I am sorry. I couldn't help but laugh. I don't think you did though when you saw the mess. Blame it on the hotflashes. :)

yep! I laughed too! Bet you had a few choice thoughts going through your mind as you cut through the mess on the fan! Thanks for making me laugh. Nothing is funnier than real life!

Nope, still working on cutting it all off. I had to laugh too, it's not worth a cry.

Unfortunately it takes all of these "life lessons" to keep us on our toes! I am sorry you lost so muck thread$$$ This is one of those times it was better to laugh than cry even if it was not funny. Sure do hope the fan still works when you get through unthreading it! Hugs, Linda

The first reaction to this is to laugh... but sorry you have lost a large cone of thread. Unwinding thread from anything is time consuming so good luck now I am returning to unwinding bits of carpet from the vacum cleaner

Sorry to hear about the vacuum cleaner. We have that problem with long hair, a lot like removing the thread from the fan but easier because the vacuum cleaner is made to be cleaned easily.

ooooooooo no.... lol I know the feeling. I have forgotten my thread out and the cats have gotten into it. I put the thread away after i use it and for some reason i forgot it out sitting beside the machine and went to bed. Well when i got up the next morning the cat had it everywhere. They had a great night of play. It was tangled around eveything. Sorry to hear about your fan :( Hope you can get it going again.

I'm sorry that your fan ate the thread, but at least its not wrapped around the wheel of your machine! Good luck! *4U
