To make names or words, you need software. I use Buzz Edit. It is expensive. I am sure that others have cheaper programs. Buzz Edit does what I need it to do. It is also user friendly.

CherrySue, What kind of machine do you have? On my brother when I use their font, there is a dash at the bottom right of the caps, that is for a space between word. Sorry I can't help anymore than that.... WELCOME!

First of all - welcome at cuties!

I use "embird" - you can try it as free trial time or stitch-limited. But it gives you some experiences how to use.
I bought the single parts of the prgramme one by one. Now I have Digitizer 11000 an expensive programme - and use still embird.
For home-embroidery it has all I need.
The link is:

Hope it helps you, happing stitching, enjoy all the tips and impressions you will find here

Welcome to Cute. I use Artista by Bernina. What machine do you have? If you buy softwear, make sure they offer free lessons on how to use it. check with your dealer first before you start looking on the internet.
