I like that kind of maid myself. BTW the shop that I do my button badges for, I was able to make a really great trade. I got $138.00 Sanita clogs (nurses shoes but these look like quilted patchwork)for 24 buttons. Sounds like grand trade to me. hehehhee... BTW they might look ugly to some but they are soooo comfortable

I like them. I wish I was good enough to make a little from my emb. but alas I am still learning. LOL
The clogs are cute, I mostly wear clogs once it is too cold for flip flops!
Wow, Terre - that is a great pair of clogs - never seen anything like that before. Nice trade.
ok hon, where's the pic of the buttons you traded for these? Must have been made of gold! lol They look comfy. I like the patchwork design.

Well - this is surely the wrong place to advertise for a Maid that doesn't like PC or embroidery - as all of us here are addicted to it. Hehehe! Good luck!

When my daughter moved back home after job cuts (she has a job now)found out she loves to do laundry. No! I'm not sharing her. lol I still do bedding out on the line but real glad she does the clothing.

Good for both of you! If she enjoys it then it probably makes her feel like she is helping you. Lucky you to have such a daughter! Mom of 4 grown sons here. Wouldn't know what to do with a girl! I also have 2 grandsons!!! oh well, there's still time for a dgd!! lol

OK you all..... I have a house husband...and NO I would not ever trade or swap....He has retired, builds model trucks for a hobby. As I work full time he keeps our home clean and tidy, inside and out. I do still cook the gourmet meals he loves and absolutely love him to death..... He has been my inspiration to get into machine embroidery, helped me set up my 'room' checks out & admires every piece I stitchout, or project I complete. Born and Bred in New Zealand he was and NO I will not trade. lol.

You know your very lucky
Blessed in fact. lol
I wouldn't want you to trade! You shouldn't ever give up a man like that! God bless you both as it appears to be a love match for sure! My man is very supportive of my quilting and embroidery and he also checks out every thing I make. When someone else praises something I made he says, see? I told you, you do good work!
However, as a maid, well, let's just say he could use a little more practice! lol I'll keep him though--took over half a century to find him and I'm not about to trade him off for a spotless house.

HEY, I ONCE HAD A HOUSE HUSBAND....the guy that came to stay with us was working inside and out around the house till my hubby decided he needed him more out on the job sites...lol...i lost my house maid and instead gained more housework with the mess he leaves also....So I think what we really need is to have get togethers every so often and someone who lives close buy and swap cleaning and embroidery days off and on...

Sounds good to me also. I just got called yesterday to make Tea Cozy's for a little tea store, so a maid would be great around here now. I'm going to be busy with the Cozy's but think it will be fun to make a little extra spending money. (You all know what I will be spending it on) hee, hee, hee. Judy
