all that many things that others are going thru. Deanna has brought much happiness in my life as she has done for many of you. Anyway I used to beable to stay on the phone with her almost every day now that is not available to us. I miss the fun and laughter she brought to me almost each day. She lives about 45 miles from me, so I can not see her often either. Wow, I guess I am just being a baby. Thanks for listing to me!! Hugs to all.

Sally dear, when times are tough - we have to give up the extra's - it seems that the cell phone minuetes are what you choice - I am sorry - I do understand - especially the fun and laughter - perhaps - you can get in the habit of calling on the later hours - if Deanna doesn't mind. The travel is hard, too - when they are that far away - I have that same thing with Terri - she is about that distance, too. I will be praying for you - maybe all of us together can figure out a way - that you and others can chat online or something. Have you ever thought of AOL's AIM - it allows you to chat - it is almost like a phone.

Thank you Shirlene for your helpful words. The cell phone is my lifeline--do not have a landline. Deanna is at work at 9:00pm when my free time starts. Will just see what God has planned for my future--as he is the one in control. God bless you and yours!! H&*

Yes, use Skype. It is a free download. You do need a camera so you can see each other. Check to see if your computer already had a camera in it. My husband and I use Skype when he deploys or is away on duty. We love it. My brother and I keep up with each other with it also as well as some friends.

Thank you 02kar, I do not have a camera--and did not know about Skype. This is something I will need to check out. Please tell your hubby that I THANK HIM FOR HIS SERVICE!! I need to check with my Son in Saudi to see if he has Skype. That is the biggest reason I keep my internet. H&*

Sally, I'm sorry you are sad. Are you and Denna on the same cell phone company? Our daughter is 12 hrs. away and we are both on Verizon and with our plan we can talk to each other for free. (I know nothing is free, but...)
Hope you can come up with something so you can stay in contact with her more. God bless, Judy

I'm so glad that there are no problems to big or to small for God to help us with.....we've had to drop our satellite internet service and go back to dial-up (slo mo)....we've change our satellite TV service to a lesser package, but I'm grateful we still have a good long distance service with AT&T.....we really miss eating out once a week.....but we've adjusted little by little....I know what a bummer this type season can be, but God will bring you through....I'll be praying for you.....blessings Janet

Janet, Thank you for your reply. God bless you and yours. I have never seen our USA in such bad shape. Never have I seen a time with so few jobs to be had. I also pray for all our struggling "Cuties" each nite before sleep. H&*

Yahoo messenger with voice also offers free computer to computer voice calls. AND you can text messages to someone's cell phones for free, as well. (I love this feature as I hate texting from my phone!) You and your best friend will need to both download this free application. Version 10 Hope it helps!

Skype is really wonderful. I keep in touch with all my relations rather than using the land line which is so costly - cell phones even more costly.

sweetie, you can make it on 450 min. I have 250 min for 15 years and only gone over twice. You just limit your calls to a minute or two, and by all means keep your land line. Kay

Thank you Kay. I know I will make it--because at this time I have no other choice. Haha!! I do not have a landline that is why the cell is important. H&*
