Has anyone used the Sierra software for digitizing? I looked into it, but it appears that the download version doesn't come with any tutorials and I don't think I would know where to start..

Thank you - the tutorials page looks good - the software is only available as a download in the UK and I thought I had better do some investigation first!

That is the program I use for digitizing. It has alot of tutorials that you can access. I am new to embroidery, so I had alittle trouble figuring things out, but now I can breeze right through it. (plus, I hate to read) I just want to jump right in and do things!

Does it have 'how to begin' tutorials? I really could do with some in-depth knowledge of the technical side of producing a well-digitized design. Don't want to plunge into something and then get frustrated because I can't get things right...
right after you open the program a page pops up with all the tutorials on it. 1st one is the users manual, 2nd is a video tutorial, 3rd is stitching and next is for lettering.

I didnt end up trying it out, as you need to be connected to the internet all the time the program is open (its free because the ads are scrolling by while you work - at least I think this is how it works)...turn off the internet and the program wont work. Since I pay for every meg I use online I decided not to try it out. However there have been some great reviews of it in some yahoo groups. Apparently its just as powerful as the fully paid version. xXx

Did You Know!! Most programs have a HELP on them, eg P_E Design: The Help is An exact of my Manual. Try this I use them all the time.
