to do the split.

Of course it doesn't come without a price but the ones I looked at were under eight dollars.
This link shows all the designs that have been split.

I was looking at the Christmas stockings at EL. Their tutorial has a template already in 2 pieces, but it is an embroidery format, not just printable. When I contacted them as to how was I to see how large it would be before I buy, I was told about Murpys. I didn't want to buy before I knew the exact sizing, and I can split the designs myself. I really think it was a bit much to have to spend another $7.50 to have an exact size template to see. Needless to say, I have not, and will not be using their stocking designs. Disappointing, because I like their designs.

Their prices seem terribly high to me!

Is this legal for murphysdesigns to be taking Embroidery Library designs? Do they have permission from Embroidery Library to alter the design and resale for profit?

Yes, that's where EL told me to check out the stocking design to have it split.

Thank you. With all the copyright laws these days, I was just surprised to see a site who charged for a design split that wasn't their original design. *4U
