If the person has an Amazing Box and a Brother memory card - couldn't they just put the memory card in it to see if it works? I most certainly think it does.

You can only use it in the Amazing Box if it is a Re-Writable card. The ones that come from Brother with designs on them are not rewritable. You can buy rewritable blank cards from Amazing designs. You need to order a .pes card then you can transfer any designs on your computer to your brother machine via the Amazing box. (which is what I use)

Robin said it best. I have PED-Basic, it uses the re-writable card and I was told that PED-Basic is the same as Amazing Box.
