it won't even recognize my CD-ROM. I put another CD in to make sure it was working and it is, this is a Win98 computer, not hooked up to internet. I am at a loss on what to try. My Elna Xquisit is almost brand new because I have not been able to get the Smart Media card to put my designs on and now I still can't get them on my machine!! Doris, Welcome to Cuties. I don't know for sure but it sounds like you might need to d/l a reader for your CD. I you have the box the CD came in look on it and make sure that you have EVERYTHING it requires. Not all CD's can be read from a CD-ROM. Some require a different reader. Let me know, I will ask my husband when he comes home tonight. That is his job. (computer support tech for Police/City of our town.)

Thanks for the welcomes, I sure hope someone can help me with this. I know Elna doesn't have an update on their card readers, even their big program uses Win98 to XP without patches. I just don't understand why the install CD doesn't work on my Win98 computer.

It is a CD, it's the installation CD for the Xpressway.
