Not embroidery, but just got word that my little grandson (7yr.) broke his arm and was in surgery for 2 hrs. He is now at home and sedated. Would appreciate prayers for him. Hugs, Terre

They won't put a cast on until next Thursday. They have to wait for the swelling to go down.

Thank you Debra... My daughter told him he was unlucky because it was his left hand and not his right. He asked why and she told him that if it was his right someone would have to do his homework for him, but since its his left he still had homework... His reply was "Awww man!" hehehe

Terre, hope your little man is feeling better soon. My gd broke her arm last year and she thought it was cool cause this crazy grandma sent her get well presents! I send him hugs and prayers. Carol

Thank you Carol. He was brave for the Drs. As a matter of fact, he told them it wasn't broken cause he could move his fingers. They laughed and told him not to move those fingers for a while. hehehe.

Have broke more than 20 bones and the third day is the worst then it just gets better. Wish him my best and a big HUG. Little guys recover quick. It's just more worry for the parents and grandparents.

Goodness, Anita.... Bless your heart. His sister broke her foot back in April. It took three months for that. I hope this isn't quite as long, since you don't have to walk on your arms. hehehe.

Once they put the cast on Thursday, he will be back to normal more than likely. It's just stressful to the adults more. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you Maria... I appreciate it. I felt so bad that I wasn't there for him this morning when it happened. I was tending to my mother. Sometimes I feel like I'm being stretched from one end to the other. :0)

Bless him! Will pray for him & care givers too. At least he only broke 1 arm. I had to call my youngest stepson & tell him that his son had broken BOTH arms at our house. He was a single Dad raising 2 kids then ( they're out of high school now).

Terre, my prayers go out to your little fella. Well now that he's gotten his badge of honor (cast) maybe he'll settle down a little and not be so rowdy. But if he's any thing like mine was the only way to have kept him down would have been to put him in a body cast. Hope he heals quickly.

Yes, The wonderful thing about this is that his big brother is being so wonderful to him.hehehe...Just like siblings to take care of each other. I've got his sister Grace here with me and she has worried about him all day. We went to buy him a get well card.

Terre, God bless the poor little guy. I hope and pray everything mends as it should. I'm sure he'll be sleepy for awhile. Would he like an angel? Send me his snail mail addy if you'd like and I'll send him one.
May God and all of His angels watch over your dear grandson.

My GS broke his arm a few months back playing basketball. He has the cast off now. He did fine with it after a while. He really got the attention from the little girls.

Terre, I'm so sorry he broke his arm. As a 2nd grade teacher, I can tell you he will get lots of attention and he'll get to tell his story many times over. After the pain is the gain - LOL It sounds like it was a bad break. Maybe he needs a T-shirt with an embroidered broken arm, or a tough guy with a broken arm. If I could, I would digitize it, but I'm not that good yet! Lots of love and prayers, Jan aka hightechgrammy

thank you Jan. I'll have to find something like that. His mom (my daughter) digitizes. I might get her to do something so I can make him a memento of his escapade. :)
