Gerry, you didn't dream it. I saw it also but then was told later it didn't matter which way you entered, when you click on your fav, it gets counted. But we can try the other and see if that makes a difference.

I always go thru the enter here page, But it doesn't make any difference how you get there. I will say that there is a problem somewhere. On 8/31 DBS had 20,009 votes, today they have 20,824. That's 815 votes they have rec'd. Cuteembroidery had 15,748 and today, 16,165, thats only 417. So, if everyone saids they're voting, we would have way more then that in 3 weeks. And then, maybe they are getting twice as much traffic as cute is. Carol

I saw this also. I have been using the link under the free letter since I read this. I don't know if there is any difference or not. Joyce

that is the way I always do it - don't know which actually works best.

Doesn't matter How you get there, what matters is that you turn off your pop-up blocker before you vote and that it has been 24 hrs since your last vote.

I read what I could find about top sites (it all seems very secretive and info is hard to come by) and although I couldnt find specific info about the embroidery one, it seems that most set up their top site to count both the number of clicks AND the number of NEW clicks (meaning from a new ip) on each site link. I guess this could be compared to how many "regular customers" each site has votes for, compared to how many "new referrals" votes there are. That might explain the 815 and 417 counted votes (as in new referrals)..? Just seems to indicate that DBS gets more traffic. This is my interpretation anyway. Its all still very confusing but go vote anyway lol xXx
