While I was stitching out the Halloween shirt, I stitched angels. I completed 3 angels while working on that shirt, and then put them aside to finish the shirt. I have done a total of 8 here. All are different organza and backing. The blue one in the upper left is actually made out of quilters cotton. While it does work,I don't think that I like them as well as I do the organza angels. My sewing buddy introduced me to a woman that was given all kinds of fabric sample books and bolt ends of material. From the books, I took what I could see of the organza type fabric, knowing that I would be making more angels. The purplish one is a gauze type material. The larger angel in the middle of the upper row is actually material that I had purchased. It is really very pretty, and probably my favorite. The material has lavender, greeens, blues, and gold. I try to use double fabric for the backing. I think that is shows better in the stitched angels.
I must admit I love the blue one the best too - I think because the colour is just so spectacular. They are all lovely anyway and would be great gifts for Christmas. Thanks for the information about them all.
Love and blessings Chris
