You can only hope for things to get better. Do what you do best and offer sewing or embroidery lessons. It would be a good start to meeting people. I found a link for the Visitors Guide. Now that you are there you can learn about all the area has to offer.

Hi You are never alone! There are all these wonderful people here to chat with you and share their talent and ideas. I get lost in this site for a while. Just give a shout out and there is someone here to answer you.
Invite the neighbors for a meet me open house hour. You can serve coffee or pastries etc... and get to know the neighborhood so to speak. I am sure there are others there that feel the same way as you do. Share your talents, and smiles and you will make friends fast! Suzanne

Dear Karen,
My thoughts and prayers are with you; I know how lonely life can be sometimes.
'Visit' with us here on Cute, and you'll be less lonely. Perhaps you can make something for someone else who needs to be cheered! I know of a little Italian girl who was recently burned, and is now being home schooled. She is 8 y.o. and will be scarred for life, but I pray that she will recover to be the best person.

It is tough returning somewhere you dont want to be after a great time away. Enjoy thinking about having been away and have fun sewing with all the bits you have just been able to get. AND remember there is always a Cutie here 24/7 to listen and reply to you

AND remember there is always a Cutie here 24/7 to listen and reply to you. I moved almost 30 yrs ago and didnot know anyone apart from my husband. It took a long time to settle and get used to my new life. I always went away with a long shopping list for the bits I could not get at home. My dad thought I was a shopaholic... Now I would not leave where I live.
