Hi am new to embroidery and downloading freebies. Picked up the site regarding FSL Angels, downloaded and now can't find either - site or the downloaded items! Help!! elizabethak

Welcome to Cute. You have to make a folder before downloading, eg. Embroidery and in there you make different folders like baby, animals, butterflies etc. I made my embroidery file under My Documents. When downloading and before you click save make sure you do it in your embroidery file. Now you will have to do a search, type in angels and see what come up. Hope you find it. Hi, welcome to the cute family. did you look on your C drive? Sometimes they are loaded there by default; also could be in my documents. Usually, when D/L I place the zipped files on my desktop so they are easy to find and file them in different folders, by category, once I have finished. Save them as zipped files first; u can open them later.

Where is drive C? I just pulled up the thing on my computer that shows me drive D an E but there is no C.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE A C DRIVE. THAT IS WHERE WINDOWS IS. GO BACK TO MY COMPUTER. IT SHOULD SAY HARD DRIVES. THAT IS WHERE C DRIVE IS. IT'S POSSIBLE THAT EVERYTHING IS INSTALLED IN D DRIVE, BUT DOUGHTFULL. IF THAT IS SO, CLICK ON IT TWICE AND SEE WHAT COMES UP.

I have folders and files and tons of designs and sometimes when I DL one it vanishes and I have no clue as to where it goes but when I try to DL it again my program tells me I already have it and do I want to replace it, I say yes and I can't find it again. I think there are gremlins living in my computer!

welcome to cute. In case you didn't make a special folder to store the downloaded designs perhaps they are in : Your Documents , or "documents and settings" hope you will find them

Welcome Elizabeth... Hopefully you found your FSL Angels. If not you can do a search on your computer.(maybe use the word FLS) If not you have been given great advise below.
